Due to a recent accident I've injured both knees and will be off my feet for a few weeks. Eventually, I will start a long period of physical therapy and will not be able to do much.
With that said, I've decided I must sell my boat project. The frames are in place, and battens secured on one side. Everything that has been assembled has been secured with screws AND marine grade epoxy (Poxy-Grip by Glen-L marine). Incidentally, the frames & battens are made from African mahogany. The winning bid will get all the framework that is completed thus far, complete set of plans, patterns, and instructions, two books on boat building ("Boat Building With Plywood" by Glen L Witt and "Boat Builders Notebook" also by Glen L Witt), and remaining- unused- hardware (screws, nails, etc), lumber and plywood. All the lumber is African mahogany and the plywood is marine grade meranti. The boat is located in Charleston WV. The buyer will have to arrange to pick it up. Also, the boat and materials will need to be picked up within 7 days of the winning bid.
For further information on this boat, go to Glen-L.com, click on "boat plans and kits catalog", then click on "outboards", then scroll down and click "Malahini".It really breaks my heart to have to give this up right now, but I really don't see myself able to complete this project anytime soon. Right now, we need the garage space more than anything. With that said, I've decided I must sell my boat project. The frames are in place, and battens secured on one side.
