YOU ARE BIDDING ON A: 1988 Nova Marine 44' Sundeck Motor Yacht (Imported as Embassy Yachts LTD)- This Vessel has Twin Caterpillar 3208Ti V8 Diesel Engines which have been last run in 2020 & then fully winterized. These Diesel engines have very LOW HOURS clocking in at 620 hours.. There is an ONAN Gen-Set 12KW Generator onboard with LOW HOURS clocking in at 331 hours. This Yacht has two large Teak lined Staterooms, Head toilets were upgraded to the Vacuum-Flush System, There are 2 Heads, the Master Head has a walk-in-shower, Crusair Air Conditioning, Power Anchor Windlass, Etc..
IN SUM: I was aboard this vessel to take pictures, it is a very large Motor Yacht with stunning polished teak all throughout the interior, from the staterooms to the 2 bedrooms, there is a master cabin in the bow area & a mid-berth cabin toward the aft, there are also 2 heads, one in each cabin bedroom & the master cabin has the shower in the head.. There are very low hours on the engines & the generator, new canvas top on the flybridge & full controls up there & in the cabin pilot station.. This is a definitely a sturdy Yacht, very much like a Grand Banks design in my opinion, stable in heavy seas & a VERY roomy LIVE ABOARD vessel when moored or docked.. This luxurious vessel has alot of character, whomever the new owner is, is going to adopt quite a classy cruiser!.. This boat had only ONE owner, he just does not have the time for her as he did in the past & chose to donate rather than see her sit on land.. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!!! - This is one the the finest vessels that i have ever had the privilege of inspecting.. She has a full CLEAN New York State Department of Motor Vehicle Title & is ready for a new captain to embark on new adventures..

BE ADVISED THAT THIS BOAT IS NOT IN "TURN-KEY" READY TO RUN CONDITION, THE DONOR STATED THAT THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM WILL NEED SOME KIND OF WORK/REPAIR, YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO SERVICE THE DIESEL ENGINES PRIOR TO STARTING/RUNNING AS THE BOAT HAS BEEN IN DRYDOCK FOR 2 YEARS & THAT IS JUST COMMON SENSE MECHANICAL PRUDENCE.. THAT BEING SAID, THE MARINA MANAGER, THE BOAT OWNER/DONOR, & THE VESSEL SURVEYOR ALL DID NOT MENTION ANYTHING MAJOR MECHANICAL ISSUES..
PAYMENT FOR THIS BOAT MUST BE IN THE FORM OF A CASHIERS BANK CHECK OVERNIGHTED TO THE CHARITY MAIN OFFICE WITH TRACKING INFORMATION OR A DIRECT BANK WIRE TRANSFER.. NOT TITLE DOCUMENTS NOR PERMISSIONS TO MOVE OR ALTER THE VESSEL WILL BE GIVEN UNTIL PAYMENT CLEARS.

IF YOU HAVE FURTHER QUESTIONS YOU MAY EMAIL: email
** WINNING BIDDER MUST COMMUNICATE IMMEDIATELY AT AUCTION END TO BE VERIFIED **
** THE BOAT NEEDS TO BE MOVED FROM IT'S LOCATION WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DATE OF THE AUCTION END, THE VESSEL CANNOT BE STORED OR STAY IN IT'S CURRENT LOCATION **
(If by chance that this vessel is blocked by other vessels in drydock & the marina cannot open access to the vessel, then it can/must stay where it is until such time as it can be accessed. You will need to discuss this storage situation with the marina. The boat does not appear to be blocked by other drydocked at the present time, but of course things can change.. But as of now it does appear to be accessible. This is being mentioned as it is a potential factor but NOT a current situation)
BOAT WILL REQUIRE A HEAVY TRANSPORT BY LAND, BE ADVISED THAT IF THIS IS COMING OFF OF LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK BY LAND, THIS VESSEL NEEDS TO BE TOWED THROUGH NEW YORK CITY TO GET TO THE MAINLAND USA.. THE BEST LOGISTICAL SCENARIO WOULD BE TO HAVE THE MARINA PLACE THE BOAT IN THE WATER (LOGISTICAL FEE WILL APPLY & YOU WILL WORK THAT OUT WITH THE MARINA).. EITHER TOW IT BY SEA TO DOCK IN NEW JERSEY FOR EXTRACTION OR TOW BY SEA TO WHEREVER YOU NEED THE BOAT TO GO. AS MENTIONED, THERE IS MECHANICAL WORK TO THE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM REQUIRES, THE BOAT IS NOT START UP & RUN CONDITION, THE DIESELS HAVE NOT BE RUN IN 2 YEARS, YOU WILL NEED A DIESEL MECHANIC TO LOOK THEM OVER & PROVIDE THE PROPER MAINTENANCE PRIOR TO STARTING/RUNNING. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ASK THE MARINA TO DO THE REQUIRED MECHANICAL & MAINTENANCE WORK, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF THEIR AVAILABILITY OR TIME FRAME FOR SUCH WORK. SO, YES... IT IS POSSIBLE TO PILOT THE BOAT AWAY BY SEA IF/WHEN ABOVE MENTIONED MECHANICAL/MAINTENANCE WORK IS COMPLETED.
