Vintage Reproduction

The original boat was a 24' Grand National Hydroplane. I purchased the boat new. It is a registered APBA Hydroplane # GN158. One of the photos above shows the boat running in it's original single seat configuration. I put approximately 3 hours on the original boat to do some testing before starting the conversion to a two seater vintage pleasureboat. It now has a float off bunk trailer (no crane required) and always draws a crowd whenever it runs. It's a great vintage show boat and has allowed me to let passengers (including the grandkids) experience the thrill of a true indycar on the water. Top speed two passengers about 80 Mph. and driver only about 110Mph. with a prop change.We are downsizing and selling our lake house some toys will have to go.
