For sale is a 1969 Valco Aluminum twelve foot Fishing Boat, on a great 1988 galvanized Calkins Trailer, with a great Mercury 5 hp Long-shaft, Four-Stroke outboard. The boat and trailer are currently registered and titled to me with CA title. I used the boat on Lake Tahoe for the 2013 season, but didn't use it this last year, so any boat that goes one year without use gets to head down the road to a new owner! The boat shows no signs of ever being used in salt water, the aluminum all looks in great shape. Motor is only fresh water use. The boat never leaked more than a drop at my dock, and the engine started on the first or second pull. It has a sea level prop on it (never needed to go very fast when I used it, so I never changed it to an altitude prop), the trailer is in great condition with newer tires, galvanized, pull it anywhere with confidence . 2 1/2" ball and working lights on the trailer, right light lens is cracked but functional. The front seat in the boat has a dent, and it has the typical scratches and dents that any 1969 aluminum boat has, but it's a good one, reliable and runs well. The four-stroke engine is legal at ALL California lakes (Tahoe is the most restrictive), so no worries there.The boat is actually light enough that two guys (or a father andteenage son, as in my case) can carry it to the water. The engine comes with the fuel tank, of course. Local pick-up in Incline Village, NV or I will prep it for transport with a shipper of your choice.
