This is a really cool, really solid little tunnel hull ex-racing boat. Three things first off: 1) classifieds board made me put in a year so I arbitrarily chose 1990. I have no idea what year it was made. 2) I know absolutely nothing about its history and I have never so much as had it in the water. 3) it is very obviously a factory-made boat. It is most definitely NOT homebuilt. However, there is absolutely nothing on it that I can find that gives me any clue as to who built it or when. No numbers stamped in the hull, no tag, nothing. It has Virginia registration numbers on it so someone was able to identify it somehow. It is fiberglass and is painted with a very professional and expensive metallic paint job. However, the paint is old and cracking and coming off in places as I hope you can see in the pictures. The colors are not in the gelcoat. The fiberglass underneath the paint is a dull gray color. It has a nicely finished interior with a smooth fiberglass floor. Racing-style cable steering is all there. It has a gas pedal, a digital tach (in unknown condition) in the center of the steering wheel, and what appears to be trim buttons on the wheel. It has an aluminum jack plate that I believe is a recent addition that I removed after some of the pictures were made but it goes with it. There is a some aluminum framework inside that held a fuel tank and a battery. I do not have the fuel tank. The trailer is included. It is a galvanized Magic-Tilt that is in very good condition. It was not made for this boat but it is a nice fit. Someone has put sideways bunks on it to support the boat. These need to be changed to longitudinal ones to provide proper support. It is a very nice trailer.I do not have a suitable motor for it. I do have a 1977 50 hp Mercury that I will sell but I feel the shaft is too long for this little boat. It may work OK. If you want it we can work something out.If you have any questions or if you can provide me with any information on the boat please contact me via email or you can call or text me at phone. I am going to sell it at no reserve with a low starting bid, so someone is going to get themselves a really neat boat that will make fun and easy winter project.
