This is a 1974 Trojan F25... (Approx Specs: 25'.5" long, 10' 1" wide and 5,500 lbs dry
weight) They don't make them like this anymore...They hand laid the
fiberglass very thick sheets. Always a very solid, dry and reliable boat. One of the best I've seen while searching and she's a head turner spending her
life well maintained by the owner of a marina...Only
fresh water, Chain O Lakes in IL.
I purchased this boat 4 seasons ago because my kids wanted a large cabin
and the wife doesn't like being beat up by waves from other boats.
Boat Includes / upgrades: Extinguisher, cabin completely updated, 3
life jackets, custom sunbrella cover and matching bimini plus side
curtains with upgraded isinglass ($4,000 in cover alone). Solid running
single 225 hp inboard with straight velvet drive trans...Just had this
season a tune up with spark plugs, rotor, cap, coil and timing etc...new
dash gauges, newer wiring, water pump, fuel pick up, thermostat,
cutlass bearing, re packed shaft this season. Shore power hook up and 2 battery bank regulator, remote electric anchor
winch, new stainless vents, remote A/C, microwave, head with newer larger flushing porta potty with pump
out capability. Lowrance Elite DSI depth/temp/fishfinder, 2 newer
Interstate batteries, newer stereo system with sub and amp which sounds
really good. I am also including a used Weber Q grill which mounts to
swim platform with a plug in seat post etc...Turn key, well
maintained and always running great! No engine hour meter...(she is not expensive to maintain
and the way I have her set up she will be set for years to come). I also had 4 inches height added by custom raising the hard top and adding a skylight...this was to accommodate me being 6'4". If you would like I can also include the original cut out of fiberglass taken from roof to install skylight, but it really is a great design which looks and works much better then originally designed.
Teak floor, rails, swim platform were just re-done this season 2015 with
interlux schooner gold and the cabin was redone 4 years ago with all new
vinyl seats, table and stain. Can sleep 4 to 5. Very easy to drive and she will draft shallow water. Note: (No trailer for boat) Due to widest width of 10' in order to trailer legally you are required to have county DOT
permits. I could probably deliver local by water, local by trailer or put
you in contact with local transport service. For example: transport services are
approx $400.00 to $500.00 to Chicago / Lake Michigan from this
location which is 38 miles away. I have owned this boat for 4 years and it has been reliable,
safe and fun for the entire family. I have invested over $8,500+ in
upgrades I've done what it takes to make this a worry free / low cost
boat... Note: This boat is also listed on other internet sites...I will reserve right within terms and time period allowed to end auction...located within northern Chicago IL.Ask any questions...Thanks and good luck!
