Trawler, Motor Boat, Pilot House Ejvind

This Ejvindswas built in Norway in 1956 and made it's way to the USA in 1967. It remained in St. Croix for a few years and then was brought back to the Floridakeys at somepoint in the 80s, the boat was purchased in 2003 and started the restoration process.The boat was fully restored over a 10 year period between 2003-2013, it was sandblasted inside and out and new gel coat (West System 205-207 Epoxy).The stringers & bulk head's in the floor have been replaced and the boat has been fully repainted inside and out. The rudder bushings have been rebuilt. A new prop shaft and bearings have been installed. It had a new Yanmar 27 hp diesel installed 2013 (3GM30F) andport and starboard fuel tanks.Theinstrumentsand hardware were in great shape so most of it has been restored and reinstalled.The boat runs perfect and very smooth at 2000 rpm's, it turns 3600 rpm's at full throttle.Just added newDuracellAGM batteries and also serviced the engine and fuelfilter.All the wood has been replaced and custom-built, the inside floor board's andbenchesare black walnut and the outside is teak. Theattentionto detail is second to none and everything works as it should. The boat receivedcustommade isinglass and newwindows & seals.Head has been refurbished and not been used since restoration.The double axle trailer is aluminum by Magic Tilt, 2-inch ballrequired(Serge brakes). It's very wellbalanced andis by far one of the smoothest trailers that I have towed with.Currently, there are only 18 hrs on this restoration. The boat has been stored indoors since completion and only been used in fresh water. Itlooks and runs amazing, and has beenmeticulouslyrebuilt; truly one of a kind.More pictures by request.
