Tornado MAD Hovercraft

Here is a quick recent video:https://youtu.be/PXO7JvB6AjEUp for sale is a MAD Hovercraft Tornado model hovercraft. The hull and non-engine components are 1 year old. This is a 2016 model. The hull is lightweight, strong, and contains a kevlar bottom for improved durability on rough surfaces. ENGINEThe engine installed is a liquid cooled Polaris 1997 triple XLT engine. It runs well as long as you keep it properly tuned as with any used 2 stroke. It has an enormous amount of power and has been able to rocket up any boat ramp we've ever tried it on, with ease. It's a 2 stroke with oil injection - simply keep fuel in the tank & oil in the reservoir and that's it - no mixing oil/gas. This is pull start, no battery, key switch & kill switch, and engine cover. USEThe craft completes water starts with ease when operated by a reasonably trained pilot. As long as the craft weight distribution is balanced, most new pilots can complete a water start fairly easily as well. Training is included in Utah if you are local or want to fly in. For faster starting it's best to spray fuel into carbs or you could install a primer. If to be used by one person, you may add weight to the front of the craft so that it always retains the correct balance (by default it's back weighted)MISCThis craft is equipped with a Voyager (by Trail Tech) display which provides you with GPS speed, elevation, ability to upload maps for easy navigation, and coolant temperature. We have been charging the display with an outlet from the wall, but you could install a small battery or charge the unit by connecting the engine to it (requires rectifier & regulator which I believe can be purchased for under $50). Body & Skirts are in good condition. Only a few skirt segments in the rear show any sign of wear (minor at that). Steering (rudders mostly) could be optimized for more effective steering (we can help you with this if you want). The seat is simply a fiberglass part with cloth glued to it; however, you may want to redo the seat with cushioning. There are many upgrades you can do to this craft.
