• The Tollycraft 30 Sedan may be a little short on sex appeal (cer- tainly by todays standards, at least), but shes long on interior volume and practicality. The house and flybridge are exceptionally large for a 30-footer and, at 13,500 pounds, shes a heavy boat for her size. By building on a wide-beam hull and extending the salon bulkhead well into the cockpit, Tollycraft designers were able to create a spacious and very open interior with berths for five. A low- er helm was standard, and a pass-through window separates the galley from the dinette. Storage space is impressive and includes a full wardrobe locker opposite the head as well as underseat storage in the salon. Note that the interior decor was updated from simu- lated teak mica to real teak in 1982. As with all Tollycraft designs, the side decks are wide, and extra-large cabin windows provide plenty of natural lighting as well as good lower-helm visibility in all directions. With her big interior, the cockpit dimensions are very compact. Most Tollycraft 30 Sedans were built with twin 270hp Crusader gas engines. The cruising speed is 2324 knots and the top speed is about 30 knots.
