I am the owner of Toller Boatworks. I am a full time teacher and have been building wooden duck boats since 2003. I have boats in 14 states that I know of, from NC to Oregon and Florida to Maine. I typically only build one or two per year and had taken some time off from boat building to focus on my other side business. I have been featured in Wildfowl magazine as well as being in American Waterfowler 4 or 5 times. The back story on the sell of the boat. Mostly because I missed building boats, I took a boat order last winter that I began in April. My customer was an awesome gentleman who was retired independent contractor for the military out of Yuma, Arizona. He contacted in May to let me know that he had been diagnosed with cancer, but was real upbeat about the whole matter. He had said that it wasn't curable but it was treatable. Fast forward a couple of weeks and he called to let me know when he would be able to travel after his chemo and that he was planning to drive out with his brother and make a trip of it. Less than a week later, his wife called me to let me know that he passed away due to complications with his chemo. Talk about floored. I offered to see if I could find a buyer so it would be one less thing for her to deal with. She said that she would pay the remaining balance but wasn't sure when she would be able to get the boat since she was in Arizona and I am located in North Carolina. Some of the pictures are before it was completed. I can promise you that if you duck hunt, there aren't many custom rigs like this. I don't think I'm allowed to post a link to my website, but you can search Toller Boatworks. Once you get to my website, click on models and Air Traffic Control. There are pictures of previous customer ATCs as well as the specs. You can also search Toller Boatworks on facebook and see the build from beginning to end.A quick run down though is as follows:The boat is 16' long and about 60" on the rail. So you would save about $2000 over what you would pay for this rig with the options he had requested. You can run an outboard or a mud motor on the ATC. If you decide to purchase a motor, I will mount and paint to match at no charge. This price is FIRM, please don't email asking what is the lowest I would take and I'm not looking for any trades. I simply want to get the money back to his widow. If you have any questions feel free to email, call or text. I am located in Salisbury, NC if you would like to see the boat in person. I can accept a credit card through Square, however, there will be a 3% fee for proccessing.
