- Up for Auction -1996 Thompson Santa Cruz 3100 (31 Ft Boat) (11.4 Ft Beam)I am selling this at a "no reserve". Please read the entire auction before bidding. I purchased this boat on classifieds board earlier this year and had it launch a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the boat, over that launch weekend, began to take on water in the engine compartment and the engines were partially submerged before it was discovered and the the water was pumped out. The culprit I'm told was a bad bellows hose. I do not know if the engines are operative or not. I had the marina mechanic look at it and he said that he would have to replace the starters before being able to try and start the engines. I am not interested in putting anymore money into the boat, so, at this stage, I am just looking to cut my losses and move it. I have the service records for the boat. It is located in Lanoka Harbor, NJ, and it is in dry dock.It is a great looking boat and had a lot of room, but will take some investment of time and money to get her seaworthy, again.Below is the advertisement used when I bought the boat.1996 Thompson Santa Cruz 3100This is a beautiful that performs well in open water.
