Tahiti Offshore 22

This was Chuck Stearns Catalina Ski race boat. Tahiti Only built 14 of these. This is hull one. Only two remain.I began restoring it by rewiring it and fairing the hull. It has all new wiring and gauges. Two saddle gas tanks. A 468 Cu.in. 4 bolt main chevy with the big Berkley Behind it. Rebuilt 850 Holley spread bore on an Edelbrock Dual plane with an HEI. When I got the boat it had 150 gallon fuel capacity, tanks everywhere. I faired the hull and painted it black and white. I have not cleared it yet. Has some scratches from the summer. It is the original windshield and shape the boat came with. It was broken recently. Finneys in Lake Havasu will make a new one for $600.00. (I live in Havasu). The jet needs wear rings. I have a place diverter and handle for the boat. Interior is 8. Carpet needs cleaned. I took out hundreds of pounds of old tanks, wiring and who knows what the hell people glassed in this boat. I was going to take it back down end of summer and make it a complete 10 restore. I now do not have the time. With not a bunch of work you will own one of the ultimate collectors boats ever made. A major famous company, first one made, a famous history and one of the last two in existence. The other is a complete restore in davits on the back of a 140' Yacht. The owner says he's been offered $120,000.00 for the boat. It is the finest most awesome restore I have ever seen. My wife and I have to tell people what it is every time we take it out. A head turner for sure. I'm sad I can't finish it but business comes first. A local company was exploring making a mold from the boat, its that cool. This boat cuts rough water like a knife. The trailer was just painted with high durability black paint, it has all new LED lights and wiring. Two side lites work with signal and brake. Two are running. Re bolted the bunks. Good Carpet. Center Line Aluminum Wheels. Tires are due. $350 for new set.
