(dark color) When the seats are in the bolster mode it doesn't show. Thats how we run it anyway. I like to be able to see.That is all I can think of! But you should expect regular wear and tear, and light scratches to paint and rub rails as it is a 1997!! This boat runs amazing, super dependable and great on fuel, runs speeds in mid 60's which is plenty fast for me! Propped a little different may do more.
