Summerset

1975 Summerset steel-hull houseboat, 14' by 55' dockedat Emerald Isle near Campbellsville,Kentucky on Green River Lake. We purchased this boat as a used boat in 1999 from the owner, at that time it was docked at Salamonie Reservior in Indiana. While we have had the boat, the engine has never worked, so it has been docked or dry land stored during the last 15 years. The boat has front and back decks about 8' long, it has a main living area with sofa bed couch and matching love seat, dining table with 4 chairs and a matching stool at the control panel, a queen size bed in the master stateroom, and a hall bed that is full sized. Both beds have storage drawers under them, there are two night stands with storage by the master bed and a three drawer dresser and two closets in the master bedroom. The hall has shelving above the bed, and a closet next to the bathroom door. The bathroom is small, but has a shower, toilet,and sink. As we have aged, we find it very difficult tomaintain the boat. The rear deck has an aluminum latter attached to get in and out of the water forswimming. The buyer should pay through pay-pal, then theseller will either notarize the title and send registered mail or meet the buyer in Campbellsville at the court house on a Saturday morning to finalize the title work. The buyer is responsible for removing the boat from the current dock location by April 1st or sign a contract with the marina and pay for dock rental at that time.
