Soviet Cold War Era Commanders Boat that used to hang on side of 250 meters long Nuclear Powered Missile Carrier.Inspected in 1976. (Shown in Badge at last photo.)From Wikipedia: "The lead ship of the class, Kirov (renamed Admiral Ushakov in 1992), was laid down in June 1973 at Leningrad's Baltiysky Naval Shipyard, launched on 27 December 1977 and commissioned on 30 December 1980. When she appeared for the first time in 1981, NATO observers called her BALCOM I (Baltic Combatant I). She is currently in reserve.Kirov suffered a reactor accident in 1990 while serving in the Mediterranean Sea. Repairs were never carried out, due to lack of funds and the changing political situation in the Soviet Union. "She (this vessel) was imported from Mediterrean Sea to Helsinki, Finland where I bought her as shown in first 3 photos. After decent wash she was overhauled a bit and then moved to Mattilan Marine (mattilanmarine.com) where she stays waiting to be fixed. Inside the Cabin you can find minimalistic luxury of opposite seats and cupboard for Vodka Bottles. She has wings like Cadillac and curved windows like Sand Mans' DDR machines used to have in 80's childs' stories. Hull looks like it should plane quite easily and take serious sea waves easy. Both sides have connections to attach her to ship and both front and rear decks have very stong hooks and cables to lift it up.Made from Strong Marine Aluminum. Selling because of lack of time. Too many boats and projects. We can help to arrange shipping. Boat is located in Joensuu, Finland, North EuropeWeight is around 2500kg / 5512 lbsNeeds restauration. Last owner sailed it around 5 years ago. All parts are found at their place. We cranked the engine 3 years ago. Stored outside but made from Strong Soviet Marine Aluminum. Engine is Soviet Inline Six Diesel. Very Simple and strong technics. The Hull needs to be repainted for nicer look but will last like this forever. Most likely Engine will start after oil, fuel , filter service and with new batteries but to guarantee long life for it some restoration would be necessary. Gear box seems to be bullet proof style and you can feel forward, neutral and reverse from the long stick of it.Inside the cabin paint is peeling of from solid aluminum panels seats need to be recovered.
