i inherited this boat from my uncle who had owned her for over 20 years & used only as a lake boat. extremely rare boat, built like a tank. OMC 800 outdrive has been rebuilt-operates flawlessly, wiring redoneunder my ownership installed new water impeller and transom seal, motor support stringers have been replaced, solid as a rock. chevy 307 motor has good compression and leak down test. purchased brand new summit racing vortec cylinder heads, new push rods and lifters, summit racing performance camshaft with new timing chain set & two piece timing cover-camshaft timing is 6 degrees advanced for low RPM power, new intake manifold, new high flow water pump, fel-pro marine gaskets and seals throughout, new thermostat and housing, new manifolds and elbows, new spark plugs, new ignition wires, new not rebuilt carb-quadrajet from jet performance in huntington with high flow jets. new electric fuel pump, has custom stainless steel 41 gallon fuel tank with new tank vent valve-you will not be getting water in your fuel tank, new distributor and coil, new battery(not shown in picture) gel coat has been polished and waxed and brought back to life. has new stereo with great speakers and new gps/navigation unit. solid dual axle easy loader trailer. yes, i have been to catalina with this boat, handles rough conditions very well. all controls and gages work, fuel gage is accurate. could use some upholstery work. always rinse with salt away, launch from dana point almost every weekend, used for hardcore fishing, exploring, drag racing dolphins. its up to you. skys the limit.
