So here is the million dollar question...you can spend $12-16 thousand dollars and buy a waverunner, or spend less here and get a premium vessel, capable of so much more! Keep the following in mind when purchasing small watercraft:
-By law, you are not allowed to use a jetski/waverunner (Personal Watercraft, PWC) anytime within 30 minutes of dusk, and under no circumstances at night. My boat listed here for sale is completely legal at night, has light-upgauges andall of the required navigation lights, and looks awesome with multi-colored LED lights throughout the interior.
-By Law, when riding on a PWC, all passengers must wear a bulky Coast Guard Approved flotation device, life jacket. My boat, like other boats, does not have thatrequirement, and the only rule is that the correctnumberof life vests must simply be on the vessel. Feel free to wear your casual boating clothes, or bundle up in the colder months.
- With a jetski/waverunner, you cannot comfortably take any passengersalong with you (unless you feel comfortable enough tostraddlethem), and even then,no conversation,no music, nobarrierfrom thewind, and no barrier from thespray(this is why waverunners are used so rarely throughout the year). Additionally, waverunners do not have depth finders or trim tabs, so the driver is unaware of depth and has very limited control over the way the PWC rides and handles. With this boat, you get everything you want, all year long!! An extremely comfortable ride, seated nicely next to friends or a date, dry and mostly protected from the elements, with a great sound system!(Boat seats up to 3passengers/600lbs).
-With a waverunner you getextremely limited storage, except for maybe a towel or two in the cubby-hole under the front hatch. This boat has tons of storage throughout, including ample space under the deck up to the bow, space on both sides of the bench seat, and a nice sized rear latching trunk, which can fit a variety of items (coolers, duffle bags, towels, clothes, supplies, ect, ect). Oh anddon'tforget, the folding cup holders in this boat provide yet another feature unmatched by PWCs, in that you can enjoy a cold beverage while out on the water!
-Performance handling is unmatched in this boat, as it feels as quick and responsive as most waverunners, while being capable running smoother in choppy waters, compared to ANY waverunner on the market. Light, solid boat + AmpleHorsepower = EXCITING RIDE!
All of that, available in my beloved St. Martin/Mig/Wahoo, F15 Mini Speedboat (**The manufacturer is unclear, and these boats appear to be produced under a variety of names, but the hull number starts with MIG**). An internet search for any of those three companies will produce plenty of information regarding these boats. They are usually reserved and sold exclusively to boat rental companies and boat dealerships, who in-turn either sell them or rent them out to tourists for tours andexcursions.
This boat has always been privately owned and is in great condition!! I have owned it for about 2 years, and before that it was owned by an oldergentlemen up north. It has spent the vast majority of it's short life in freshwater, andthoroughlycleaned if ever used in salt water. It has also always been garage kept, but also comes with a full boat cover (including engine) for outdoor storage.
The outboard is a 70 horsepower Tohatsu engine, with electric start and electric trim, which starts instantly and runs great! This is the largest engine option available for this boat, with the smaller being a 35hp. The boat jumps up on plane and runs great, with an abundance of horsepower. If you are not familiar with Tohatsu, they are very popular outboards, known for their reliability and long life. They are made by Nissan, which produce much bigger, extremely reliable outboards under the "Nissan" label. Interesting fact: Tohatsu also produces Evinrude engines under 25hp.
Hull is in awesome condition, with only minor cosmetic blemishes, withroughly 60 hours on the boat and motor.Hardware includes rub rail, stainless steel cleats, stainless steel chrome bow light and stern light. Currently, vinyl "CIGARETTE WORLDCHAMPIONSHIPRACING" decals are installed on each side of the boat. Also installed within the last year are Lenco PREMIUM Marine Stainless Steel Trim Tabs with electric actuators, including a digital trim tab indicator on the dash (Over $1500). Also, the driver can easily discover the depth, at any time, with the digital depth finder (gaugeon dash, transponder on transom).
Don't forget the amazing stereo included with this boat! Two 6" marine JBL speakers in the dash and two 6x9" speakers under the dash produce plenty of mid and high range sound, while a 10" Sub and Amplifier are sealed in a Bazooka Marine Tube ($500) under the deck. Head unit is Sirius XM ready with mp3/aux input jack and USB input mounted on dash.
Also included is a LIKE NEW condition,Continental Aluminum Single Axle Trailer, with perfectly functioning trailer jack, boat winch, and lights. Bunks are in great condition, and trailer has tall PVC guide posts for easy on and off. Boat only weighs around 1000lbs with the engine, so a standard, single-pole, waverunner lift can be used if storing on the water (saves $$$).
Boat and/or motor inspections welcomed! Sea trial for SERIOUS buyers only. Black "radar arch" is currently removed for ease of entry, but has a small crack at base. Easily repairable if buyer decides to put back on the boat. Aluminum trailer in like-new condition.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY IS AVAILABLE FOR ADDITIONAL FEE.
