Shell Lake Rocket

For the collector: fully restored 1958 Shell Lake Rocket ski boat. One owner - bought new by my dad in 1958 and I have the original bill of sale. Original motor has been serviced. Replaced the magneto in it and the motor was running at that time last year. Haven't had it in the water since. It is a 50hp Johnson Super Sea Horse V4SL-10 outboard engine.Boat has been repainted. New rub rail. Original windshield with new rubber seal around it. All chrome pieces have been re-chromed. Original steering wheel and controls. New modern compass, speedometer and antenna. Seat cushions have been re-created from the original seat cushions. The original search light mechanism works but there currently is no actual lightbulb in the light. Boat has been rewired. New battery.Custom trailer has been powder coated. All new running boards with new carpet. New wheels. New rollers. New trailer lights and wiring.Willing to drive up to 100 miles to meet for sale.MUST HAVE a 1 3/4" or 1 1/2" ball on your hitch. Will not fit over a standard 2" ball.
