For sale is a 1960 16ft Shell Lake Rocket, made in Shell Lake Wisconsin. It is powered by a 1964 60HP Evinrude Sport Four. The boat and trailer were both restored about a year ago and everything looks and works great. The boat has new paint, wiring and seats. The engine looks and runs excellent. The trailer is painted to match the boat and has had all components replaced. Wiring, nuts/bolts, winch, jack, tires, lights.. Everything works as it should. The boat runs nice with a top speed of probably around 30mph. This boat also carves incredibly well. It has a fun interior and feels almost like driving a car. . The boat comes with (3) very nice vintage gas tanks and a spare prop. The boat is also for sale locally.

Hi Dave,
Great vessel! Looks clean. However, since it is August 2023, I am assuming the boat is already gone but if not, would be interested. I do have a question about the use of the boat on the salt water bay on the east coast. Do you know if the shell and motor are good in salt water.
