71' Used Seaton Steel TrawlerA long distance passage-making trawler.This vessel is being offered AS IS/ WHERE IS. The seller will not offer to make repairs. The vessel recently (Dec. 18) made a 250nm trip from New Bern NC to Charleston SC. It is believed the stb. generator was water locked and ingested seawater. It has bee removed from the engine room (see pic) and is disassembled and stored in the aft lazaret. It may be possible to rebuild the generator or a replacement would be required. Currently the vessel operates on 1 main engine and 1 generator.- The port side fluke anchor is missing. (See picture) While the vessel was anchored the shackle connecting the rode to the anchor failed. The port anchor chain is on board, but no anchor. The stb side anchor, chain, and windlass are complete and operational.- Niad fin stabilizer system has a leaking hydraulic cylinder that needs service.- Air conditioning system is not currently functioning. The cold water loop experienced freeze damage while the vessel was dry-docked. All the fan coils have leaks in the cold water loop.
