SeaCraft Menard Laker

Description: For sale is 1990 Seacraft with trailer. The hull and interior are in good condition but please review the pictures and judge the condition for yourself. The engine is a 4.3 liter Volvo Penta with a duo-prop Volvo outdrive. The boat was used last summer, ran well and had an extremely smooth ride. At the end of last season it was professionally winterized and wrapped. This summer when it was unwrapped and the battery charged the engine failed to turn over. At this time I do not know what work the engine needs to get it going. Could be something minor or it may need to be replaced. The boat comes with the canvas top shown in the pictures which has been previously repaired and needs more work or just replaced. The trailer is in good condition without any major issues.

The boat is titled as a "Menard Laker". It is my understanding from the previous owner that in the late eighties/early nineties the Menard Co. purchased numerous SeaCraft hulls and outfitted them for use on the Great Lakes which is where the name "Laker" came from.

Due to the fact that the boat is not currently running it being sold as is for parts/repair

I have a valid Massachusetts title in my name which I will sign over and include with the boat. I have a Massachusetts title for the trailer but it is not in my name as I never registered the trailer. A bill of sale for each will be provided.
