The engine has a rebuilt 4.3L V6 175 MerCruiser, as it has been setting for over 7 years without starting there is some repair work that needs to be done according to a MerCruiser mechanic, he said it needed new freeze plugs and one of the valves is stuck open, it also according to him needs new bellows. The cost for all is not much if you do-it-yourself, the estimated cost if done by a mechanic is about $1,500.
