(Just bought my new Scout. I have lowered the reserve a lot to move this baby and make room for the new boat) A lot of folks called and emailed so I am thinking somebody will pull the trigger with a lower reserve.2003 Scout 175 Dorado DL.
You will be hard pressed to find a nicer Dorado of this year. 2ndowner of a very pampered Scout that spent most of its life under cover and a few months in a slip.
-2003 Yamaha F90 four stroke with 412hrs. Always dealer serviced and flushed with saltaway. Just tuned with oil and filters ready to go. Yamaha ring free used religiously on this engine
-Stainless three blade balanced and pitched correctly for this boat.-Fuel Water Filter-Tilt Stainless wheel-Stainless Drink Holders. Most other Dorados of this year are plastic.-New VHF w/DSC connected to gps and small whip antenna. This setup is mounted with upmost care and barely noticeable
unless needed.
-Garmin 441 with sounder and Charleston to Florida keys mapping. Pro mounted with in hull mounted transducer no external wires or hull mounted transducer to get in the way.- Aux power and dual USB charger in glove compartment.-All new Cushions with contoured foam padding with the same colors and quality as original.-New bilge and aerator pumps within last year.-Anchor with 100ft rode and 6ft chain. (It had a crack on the faceplate)-Built in live well with aerator/wash down and cutting board.-This Dorado has the factory stainless bow rail.-Locking floor storage, cockpit locker and glove compartment. (Weird to say glove compartment on a boat) large front storage/fish hold, anchor locker, 2 waterproof holds under bow seats.-Magic tilt aluminum trailer. Fully updated within the last 4 months. New carpeted bunks and guides, New leaf springs, New bearings with bearing buddies, New LED lights, New ibeam mounted flip up trailer jack wheel, New spare tire with mount and cover. 2 new trailer tires (the good ones made for trailering long distance $110 each)-Full cover, fits perfect and will need replacing in a few years. -Full tank of ethanol free marine gas about 40 gallons or so.
Yamaha F90 has been the best motor I have ever owned. With very low hours It is a perfect match for this hull. We usually have 4 people onboard and plane in seconds and cruise around 3800-4300rpm. Usually all day in the keys or cruising the coast trying to fish or just having fun it seems to just sip gas.It seats six and no one is ever uncomfortable. With 2 -3 fishing we can really make some time and fly to the good fishing spots. This boat like all Scouts handles rough water really well.Hands down the best boat I have ever owned and talk to any Scout owner and they will usually tell you the same. The build quality is what makes a Scout a good buy. They just hold up with no issues and unsinkable. Plus in MHO it is a really good looking design. This hull is the same as the center console versions. I am now a believer in dual consoles for all boating and fishing. Gel coat shows no spider cracks other than maybe 3 or 4 minor ones around some fittings. Only 2 dings that I see on the hull and barely noticeable.
This Boat is turnkey and ready to go. Everything works as it should. Trailer is ready to be towed any distance.
Can sea trial for serous buyers. If you buy it or win it and dont like it after a sea trial all I require is classifieds board listing fee.OK with international buyers and can deliver boat to Savannah, Jacksonville or Brunswick ports for a reasonable charge.
Asking $12,000 NADA avg. $11,920
I will take 450.00 off the asking price if you dont want the electronics.

Hi All. For everyone that has asked for more pics of boat and engine running. Send me an email and I will forward pics and video taken this weekend of boat running and detailed pics of engine etc. For the question on delivery the only thing I will do is drive it the the nearest ports and yes it can stay in my garage for up to a month prior to pic up.
