For sale is our 1993 Scott Robson 44 Power Catamaran built in NZ and imported to the US ,you can get an idea of their designs by looking at their website www.robsondesign.co.nz , there is currently only 1x38 of similar vintage for sale for $339K AU in Australia .We purchased the boat in 2011 in Marathon Florida after buying her we moved her to the Clearwater area where she has been ever since, a few years on the hard and the last 3 in the water , we did remove the Bravo diesel outdrives, blank off the transom holes and the drives are stored in the boat you can see they are still in good condition . It was originally our intention to repower her with Yanmar diesels . She had twin Cummins 300HP turbo diesels unfortunately after removing the engines to get them repaired the mechanic stole the engines and our deposit so we found ourselves having to replace them, unfortunately 10 years later we are still sitting with a project on our hands .As you can see this is a project , she does need work , I would have to say the most important area being the aft cockpit deck , although the boat is fiberglass the rear teak deck area is not and as such it does need to be replaced the deck hatches are not in good condition however the beams are.I would bank on removing the rear deck we had planned to remove it before installing the new engines recently we even played around with the idea of just adapting the transom and buying 2x350hp outboards and using them .As you can see in the pictures the main salon area has amazing headroom over 7ft I believe , there are 4 cabins , 2 doubles forward and 2 singles aft , the foam and cushions have been replaced we have not even removed them from the plastic yetThe boat has endless potential for the right person , it is a project make no mistake it has the potential of being worth a considerable amount of money if it is completed properly at this point we have decided to list her and see how we go with too many other ongoing projects it is time to let someone else finish this .We may be interested in a partial trade although please do not be offended if we do not want to trade something you may have as cash offer is always preferred , with that said you may feel your cutlass supreme is a classic and we may view it as reliable transportation on the same token having made trades in the past usually the buyer wants full blown retail for their trade but wants to offer a wholesale price I do think one can meet somewhere in the middle .The boat is currently at a private dock which we have had and still have an exceptional deal at for the moment and for that reason I will not allow anyone just to go down to look at the boat , I am currently in Maryland but will fly down for the weekend and meet any potential buyers .To sum this up, we are selling a project boat that needs work but this is a project with a lot of potential , if you do not think so that is ok, please we don't need stupid e-mails with ridiculous offers or dumb comments , I can respect people have different opinions on values or perceptions of a boats condition , no problem if this is not for you just scroll on , if you are interested I will do my best to answer your questions , if you would like to call me send me an e-mail with your number or I can e-mail you mine ,Lastly if you need to check with your wife , girlfriend , mother spiritual advisor or whomever please do so before making an offer .Thanks Matt
