This 12' Scat Craft Sportboat is powered by a Mercury 70 Hp outboard which gives it a top speed of 42-47 mph and is a blast to drive! The hull and top deck have been repainted and all steering, controls, wiring and gauges have been replaced. The boat is a composite cored construction with no wood and should give years of additional fun on the water to its new owners. It has power trim, a 6 gal fuel tank, S/S Chopper 18 Pitch prop, a full Sumbrella towing cover and safety gear as required for this size boat all included in the auction.The engine is a 1983 Mercury 70 ELPT, with under 200 hrs of run time having been in my family since new. It's the 3 cylinder 70 and it runs flawlessly .....starts easy, idles smooth and is economical to operate. It is in near new condition as you can see. The prop is the Merc Chopper 18 pitch which gives the best top end performance that I have found thru trying various props. Annual services have been done and it shouldn't need anything service wise until next year.The trailer is a converted galvanized jet ski trailer .....in very good condition. Tires and bearings are virtually new with less than 100 miles of use since replacing 3 months ago. The trailer is set up as a drive on style for easy loading.This boat was a project I put together for my grandsons .....they have since moved to different states. I am making the move from Florida to Alaska and it can't come along. I have invested about 3500 in this little cat .....the top deck has gold pearl accent striping which is hard to capture in the pictures. It is a very safe and stable boat ....turns as if on rails ....and the top speed is enough to thrill most anyone.... The hull bottom is Awlgrip white. Mechanically it is turnkey ready. It does need 2 items to be addressed...... The wrap around bucket seats need to be reupholstered and the cockpit carpet glued down. Please keep that in mind as you bid ....otherwise the boat is as described.This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION ....it is locally advertised so I reserve the right to cancel the auction should a Buyer appear.
