Scariano - Scarab Custom Pleasure/Power Cruiser

This is a ONE OF A KIND GO FAST BOAT! This boat was designed and built by Frank Scariano CEO of Scariano Boats for his own personal use. Mr. Scariano has designed and built a vast array of boats for the U.S. Coat Guard, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Dept of Interior, U.S. Army, Association of Pilots, River Boats, Louisiana Wildlife & Fishing, and many private individuals.The boat was built in 1993 due to the very limited use us this boat and low hours on it the State of Texas re-classified it and titled it as a 2000 model.This boat is a little over38 ft. long, it has two custom built 454 /650HP turbo charged engines at a pro speed shop with only 52 hours on each. Two Borg Warner Arneson Drives 17-21, three blade custom brass props that cost $8,000 each when bought new, these have been serviced and have no hours on them since being serviced. It comes with a Kohler 4KW Generator to power all the amenities including Air Conditioning/Heating, Full kitchen and bar with auto liquor dispensers, ice maker, dishwasher, Full restroom, and Kenwood sound system. All leather seating. Custom multi gauge dashboard. Kevlar/Fiberglass Hull. Custom built 40 ft. trailer with three mobile home axels,all brand newtires. The hull is almost identical to a Scarab V-Step hull. It had the step down hull before Scarabs or Fountains even thought about it.The boat has been sitting several years after Mr. Scariano's passing however the engines have been cranked yearly and the powertrain is in perfect condition ready to run. There is however 1 or 2 stringers in the bottom of the hull that must be replaced and couple of other minor fixes needed to the deck. The floor has been cut out to replace the stringers and is how it now sits. All this boat needs to hit the water again as the special one of a kind boat you wont find anywhere else with all these amenities built in is to have the stringer(s) replaced and put the floor back, either paint or wrap the entire boat, clean and replace the carpeting in the cabin, and clean upholstery in cabin back seat probably needs recovering from sitting out. I don't want to sell this boat at all, I have held onto it for over a year but I just don't have the time or health to give it to make it what I know it could once again easily be. This boat is actually kind of a legend to many around the Clear Lake area that knew Frank Scariano. When this boat was last appraised in 2003 it appraised at $83,000 as it sits now, and $394k after repairs made.
