San Diego Ship Tug Boat

Last DD August 2017 bottom found sound. Two coats commercial bottom paint, new cutlass bearing, zincs, caulking as needed. Rare 6cyl FWC 320hp Atlas Imperial Burns max 8gph @ 8kts put in brand new 1946 after Tug served in the Navy WWII. Depth finder, radar, diesel stove, washer, Dutch Doors, Washer with "spin" dryer. Upper state room two bunks, sink, urinal, lower stateroom (foc'sle) 4 bunks, needs painting. 13' McGregor skiff with 20 hp Evinrude, needs new recoil spring. Heavy fir construction. Went to start Main engine end of June and the old air tank (needed to start engine) blew so she now needs it repaired or replaced. Found one local $600 would need to be picked up and installed if still available. DC Gen set, Compressor working fine. Windlass has power ok but needs to be freed up. AC gen set not running. As Is Where Is. Needs work. Ship wright found a soft spot port stern above water line to be fixed next haul out. Bulwarks need repair/replace. Has some deck leaks. Built by San Diego Ship in 1926.
