Reproduction Hacker/Zimmer 16' Gentlemens Racer

Just completed July 2014, and winner of the Madison Antique Boat Show, Peoples Choice Award.this is reproduction of a 1923 Gentlemens racer runabout as designed by the late John Hacker, construction consists of both conventional era specific methods like batten-seam, combined with modern techniques like cold molded mahogany for strength and durability. The boat is powered by a Mercruiser 4.3 engine coupled to a Hurth ZF aluminum transmission with an 8 degree shaft angle. Most of the chrome is new as are all components other than the motor which I purchased used. There are 14 coats of captains varnish on the boat. the trailer pictured is included. I have many pictures of the three year build that can be sent to interested parties along with the boat running in the water. The hull and decks are 2 layers of cold molded african mahogany, no leaks, given that the boat is cold molded there is no nead to soak.
