Reets Boatworks Miss APBA Race Boat

This boat is being offered without a motor at this price. I sold the motor that was in it. I can certainly put a brand new one in it within 4 hours but I figured I would try this for anyone who might be interested in putting their own in it and saving some money.

I can put a new motor in it for an additional $10,500

Retirement Plan is a 26ft Gentleman's racer wood boat that was built by Adam Retersdorf at Reets Boatworks as a show boat. It has the styling of an antique 1920's Gold cup race boat with the modern construction techniques that greatly reduce the maintenance requirements of traditional wood boats.

This boat has just been sitting in the barn, I sold the motor that was in the boat to a friend that needed one.

West system and cold molded construction method with a bottom made of three layers ofmahogany epoxied together for a total thickness of 3/4". The sides, deck and transom are two layers thick consisting of and inner 1/4" and an outer 1/2" layer epoxied together. The outer finish is 14 layers of Pettit Flagship varnish for the maximum UV resistance.

The boat includes a tandem axle sierra trailer, a mooring cover that covers the entire boat to the water line and a second cover for the rear cockpit.

Varnish and gold leaf lettering are options that we can take care of to make theboat truly yours. Delivery options are available but not included in price.
