Raysoncraft LP

Up for sale is a very original and rare RaysonCraft LP V Drive flat bottom. This boat was bought from the original owner who ordered it new out of Gardena, CA. The boat spent it's life in Tennessee where it was hardly ever used. The owner estimated that in it's lifetime, it had maybe 100 hours of use on it. This is made evident by the condition of this boat. The interior is complete, all original, and in very nice shape. All fiberglass, floors, stringers, deck, etc are 100% original. No delamination in the floors whatsoever. The Gel coat is original from 42 years ago and looks amazing. The rigging, steering components, and everything else are also original. The only thing not original to this boat, is the fresh 408 Big Block Chevy that is now in it. The motor is a 396 4 bolt main BBC, bored .60 over, with all fresh internals. It has a "street friendly" cam, dual valve springs, double roller timing chain, Melling high volume oil pump, 18qt Marine oil pan. The exhaust setup is Nicson waterlog manifolds into Rewarder over the transomrisers. This boat sounds and runs as good as it looks. The motor is mated to a Velvet Drive (72c) F-N-R transmission. It runs into a 10* Casale gearbox, and out to a 3 blade stainless steel prop. It has adjustable cavitation plate with lockout handle. The trailer is the original single axle trailer that was bought with the boat. In very good shape and all lights work. It is currently being repainted and re-decked, so it will be in brand new condition at time of sale. There are not many of these boats around, and certainly not in this condition, let alone being in the Midwest. The boat is currently located in northern Wisconsin, but can be arranged to show in the Milwaukee area if necessary. Willing to work out delivery as well.
