Listing includes boat, cover and trailer. The motor and controls seen in the pics has sold. This is a rare opportunity for someone interested in getting into ultra fast speed boats without spending $40,000 on a new 22' tunnel (plus motor!) The boat shows incredibly well for it's age. The gelcoat is in excellent condition. There are some scratches and worn areas on the hull commensurate with a 28 year old speed boat but nothing that compromises the integrity of the boat. There are no stress cracks! There was a hot foot pedal with the previous motor setup and four 1/4 inch bolts were drilled through the bottom. It has since been patched but the patch, though professionally done, is obvious to the eye. You can't see it unless you squat. I have never raced nor have the previous two owners that I have had contact with. -Transom with double reinforced knees is rock solid. -Three bilge pumps all work. -gauges work except for speed, so I would go GPS-No radio/speakers included. -Battery replaced early this year and always kept charged. -Dual axle trailer is in great shape with little surface rust. Trailer lights all work and tires were replaced last year. -$1000 custom cover made last year. -Electric 6" jack plate included.Something to mention for those who've never experienced a tunnel hull boat: they ride incredibly smoothly over rough water. The two tunnels narrow as they run aft which increasingly compresses the air the faster you go and lifts the boat creating truly air ride suspension! I have owned several V bottoms and comparatively, this is like riding on a cloud. Your lower back will thank you. It is also significantly more stable at higher speeds. I accidentally went over a cabin cruisers wake a 45 degree angle at 76mph and went full send but landed like a plane. These hulls are identical to the Liberator hulls as Liberator purchased the molds from Rapid Craft. A Mercury 300xs will get you over 100mph safely. Buy the boat cash and finance a new motor? That's what I did. Some areas needing attention eventually;Padding on the front seats is shot and they should be replaced. Rear bench is good. Dual 27 gallon aluminum fuel tanks. Port side tank leaks. Aluminum tanks are repairable (seem weld) or you could swap it for a new one for a few hundred. There is a toggle switch on the dash to go between the tanks so I just use the right side. I don't notice a weight balance issue and my girlfriend isn't even fat! The 300r would go over well over 100 miles on one of the two tanks. Sold as is. I am happy to talk to or message with you if you have any questions. I will try to get a YouTube video posted of the boat running at speed over Labor Day weekend. Just search rapid craft tornado.
