A true blue water cruiser with twin 4 Cyl. Perkins Diesels.A thorough video tour of the boat with diesel start up:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLBfRcpk_Z4&t=172sThis boat took a trip from Jacksonville to the Domincan Republic in 2011. It has been built and set up for long-distance cruising with all the comforts of home. Would be an excellent boat for the Great Loop or Caribbean cruising in comfort. Incredibly well built and extremely sea worthy. These boats typically burn approx. 2.5 gph at 6-8 knots. It is also a semi-displacement hull and is capable of cruising in the 12-14 knot range if so desired. Draws only 3 feet. The boat is at a perfect state for a fun project boat. One who is not worried about aesthetics could have it out cruising with minimal effort and minimal costs. If you are looking for a full rehab to bring her back to original glory she will require lots of bright work on the exterior. The starboard engine is in perfect shape as is the transmission. The port engine is in need of a belt change and a minor exhaust leak repair somewhere in the engine room. Transmission is good. Both engines can use basic upkeep / service. Also requiring new solenoids to make the kill switch work at the helm. There are tons of spare belts, filters, and impellers in the engine room. Each engine is plumbed to seperate 150 gallon fuel tanks with 2 racor fuel water seperators on both sides.See engines running on their own:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CWVFOkTajAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWG3kONNhOURub rails can use replacement, Some minor glass work needed on the upper lip. The bow sprit has been broken off on the tip, the piece is in the boat.Bottom job was done in 2016, It will require a good scraping or a new bottom job.Hull deck and topsides would greatly appreciate fresh paint if so desired. There are over built dingy davits, previously used to hang a 12 foot RIB boat. Swim platform is useable but could use a replacement. There are 10 extremely large solar panels above the aft deck, also functioning as a hard shade top.Navigational electronics are old (early 2000s) but most appear to be functional.12 volt and 110volt systems are running well.Drains in the boat are functioning but are partially clogged. Shower sump pump slow but operable.Toilets currently not functioning. Thru hulls appear to be in good shape.Hookup for gas stove present, appear to be in good shape.Aft cabin and V Berth have beautiful half inch thick wood floors in good shape.Huge aft cabin, with tons of drawers and closet space. Aft head contains a bath tub and large vanity.Double bunk V berth with forward head. Forward head has a working laundry washer.V berth also has oversized closet. Please understand this is a project boat. It is not "move in ready"Can stay at current slip for a month or two if needed.
