This is a great boat with plenty of room for everyone. Ideal for a spacious live aboard or coastal cruising.
Large upper deck, stern and bow decks. Big walk around decks. Plenty of room inside and out and lots of below decks storage.
We've had a lot of fun with it in the ICW, bays and offshore wreck fishing.
I am going to really miss this boat but I am out of money andout of time.So I am selling it with no reserve.
I am a disabled veteran and my wife and I have serious and immediately pressing health problems (C) and medical bills that must take precedence.
The boat has to go now, not next month. Please, don't bid unless you are ready and able to purchase the boat at the final auction price.
If you want a big boat with good bones that is repairable, for a great price, this is it. I hate to let it go but it must go.
Icannot afford to get it repaired before selling it. I've done most of the work but can do no more. Please read the fault section below.
Hopefully someone will put a little TLC into it and enjoy this boat.
The boatwas valued at $49,900 (Valuation survey) when I bought it in 2010 and I have put a lot of work and money into it.
The previous owner was conscientious and very thorough and he put a lot of work and money into it.
Itscurrently sitting in the slip at the marina.

The boat is in OK overall condition with solid hull, decksand bamboo floors. It hassome typical wear and tear.
The inside is in decent shape and looks much better than the outside. It needs a little bit of cleaning as I have been unable to maintain it properly.
The outside paint is old and faded, flaking in places. It needs a paint job pretty bad. The railings and woodwork need to be stripped and painted or varnished and need a little work here and there. The rod holder platform things in the back are functioning but are old and need to be replaced eventually.
The below decks areas and bilges are fairly clean and in good shape with functioning bilge pumps. There are no leaks in the vessel.
Bilge pumps, batteries, charging and 120v and 12v electrical systems, appliances, lighting, navigational lights and all other systems functional.
House batteries (8 Deka Pro 6 volt) and 4 larger startingbatteries for engines and generator are in good order.
Shore power and 50 AMP and 40 AMP charging systems work fine. Large house battery bank for 12v power off the hook. There is a power converter that appears to work but I never have tried to use it.
The Kohler diesel generator starts and runsgood but needs servicing. It's pretty dirty and the oil pressure gauge is not functional. The metal catch pan below it is rusty.
Automatic bilge pumps have been mostly replaced and are all functional. Manual switch high capacity bilge pump to empty the bilges while underway or at the dock.
Walk in shower and tub and large bathroom with sink, cabinets and mirror. Hot water heater functional and electric flush toilet.
Full size refrigerator is old but works fine.
Alcohol stove and range has never been used (by myself or the previous owner) and appears new.
Large heavy duty tubular aluminum upper helm canopy and canvass in good shape.
Two spotlights over upper helm canopy (controlled from toggles and switches at lower helm). Spotlights mounted on aluminum bars over canopy ready for a radar dish to be installed top center.
Two VHF radios (upper and lower helm).
Large lighted compass at lower helm and a bit smaller compass at upper helm. Both work fine.
Fuel tanks are two 180-gallon steel tanks. Engines and generator fed through fuel manifold and can be set to feed off of either port or starboard tank or both.
Racor fuel filter canisters have been replaced.
Engines aretwin inboard diesels -a matching set of 1988 Perkins M240Ti (Turbo charged -also called T6.354.4M). Rated up to 2800 RPM from factory. When hull is clean you can run about 14 or 15 knots at full throttle. About 6 to 8 knots cruising speed. Uses about a gallon or two per hour at cruise and at mixed speeds typically used about 30 to 40 gallons of fuel per 10 or 20 nm offshore day trip.
Borg and Warner V-Drives and transmissions work.
This boat was in good working order and was used frequently until about a year ago. It has been from Tampa Bay to Panama City Beach and on many PCB area day trips up to 20 nm offshore back and forth between wrecks and some overnight trips. Previous owner took it from Tampa Bay to the Bahamas and Louisiana.
This boat is very stable in the ICW and in light seas. Avoid larger seas or you can expect it to rock and roll quite a bit. This vessel has a bit flatter hull at the stern than a true blue water boat (like a Hatteras). It draws about 3 1/2 feet. It does have a raked bow that takes the waves nicely but it can be a rough ride in stormy seas. Plan your trips offshore with care and you will have a good time. It is designed as a coastal cruiser.
We had a belt break underway last trip out and theport engine overheated andshut down. We came in on thestarboard motor and only restarted the port motor long enough to back into our slip. I've spent a lot of money and time getting the heat exchanger and the head professionally rebuilt. The head gasket has been replaced and the engine is back in one piece.
Before repairs it did not knock. Now it is running roughly and knocking. The valve timing needs to be professionally set and there may be air in the lines. This may be why it is running rough and knocking. It may berelatively easy to fix or it may not.
================ FAULT SECTION:
-Top paint old and faded and flaking in places - needs paint.
-Bottom paint thin or non-existent - needs paint. Bottom cleaned and zincsreplaced by diver every other month.
-Windlass not functioning - needs repair or replacement.
-Upper Helm steering removed and needs to be installed. Previous owner removed it and I have not yet replaced it. The hydraulic steering pump he bought is installed at the upper helm. All upper helm controls and throttles functional. No steering on upper deck. Quoted less than $1000 to have someone install upper helm (cable) steering.
-Lower helm steering works fine but is old. In fact it looks pretty bad (cables rusted and frayed in stern where they attach to the rudder bar) however, it looked that way when I bought it. All lower helm steering, gauges controls and throttles functional EXCEPT port RPM gauge presently not working and starboard fuel gauge inaccurate.
-STBD engine runs OK >Needsfuel pump damper leaking (spray-must be replaced),belt and oil change.
-PORT engine: runs rough and knocking at present. Engine overheated when belt broke. Restarted to get into slip - ran without knock before repairs. Heat exchanger prof. repaired. Head prof. rebuilt. Head gasket replaced. >Needs - Valve timing needs to be prof. set. May be cause of roughness and knock and/or possibly air in lines? After repairs found exhaust elbow had rusted through and the exhaust elbow clamp broke. Must be replaced. Fuel pump damper leaking (dripping).Needs belt and oil change.
(The fuel dampers can bepurchased from Shiver Diesel for about $135 each. The exhaust elbow, clamp and any other engine parts can be purchased from Perkins Power Corporation. TDiesel.com is an excellent source for parts needed in the future.)
-Old AC has been removed. The old air handler is in place below decks but the compressor/condenser unit has been removed. No heat or air except there is a small window A/C unit in the aft stateroom. Works fine ice cold but can be overwhelmed in the summer heat because the boat is so big. It willcool down the aft stateroom if you close it off.
There is a large (200 gal?) fresh water holding tank that has a smell I could never get rid of. On the hook the water is fine.
-Sonar and GPS removed for another vessel. Will consider selling ($1100) used LOWRANCE HDS 7 Insight USA GPS/Sonar chartplotter/fishfinder/sounder with LSS-2 Structure Scan, transducers, Heading Sensor, Lowrance NMEA 2000 Network Starter Kit, and all network wiring and wiring extensions. Includes everything needed to integrate radar into system EXCEPT for Lowrance 3G or 4G Broadband radar dish. Includes real world coordinates of a number of offshore wrecks for great fishing in and near Panama City Beach. Lowrance HDS 7, LSS-2 Structure Scan, Heading Sensor and transducers can be reinstalled and wires reran in an hour or two. I see Lowrance 3G Broadband Radar dishes online for about twelve hundred bucks new.
