Up for auction is my 2001 Parker 2520 DV Sport Cabin boat. I have owned it for approximately 10 years. It was professionally repowered in August of 2015 with a brand new Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI I/O motor and a new Magnum Transom Assembly. The motor currently has 102 hours on it (may change with use).
Parker boats have been built by the family owned business since the 1960s. They are renowned for their strength, simplicity and seaworthiness. The Parker 2520 was built with comfort in mind, to protect the occupants year-round from the sun, rain, heat and cold. They are also known for being one of the best fishing boats on the water, with ample rod storage, stainless rails and hardware and the safety of a self-bailing cockpit.
This Parker 2520 comes equipped with the following:
Dual wipersAM/FM stereo Full swim platform with ladderFor/aft bilge pumpsRocket launchers (+ 6 rod holders) FishboxRaw water washdownGarmin 740S GPS fish finderFuruno 1712 Radar Garmin VHF 200 marine radioPortable marine headDual batteries Removable bimini topTrim tabsWest Coast bow railsBow pulpit with roller Richie compassDeck spot lightsAnchor windlass
I will also include the Fisher Canvas winter cover, all manuals I have, as well as copies of all servicing related receipts.During my ownership, this Parker 2520 has been meticulously maintained by C&C Marina. On May 1st, 2020 the boat received its standard spring service to include 2 new batteries, bottom paint, anti-foul on outdrive, new zincs, etc. The boat has a clear and free title in my name that is ready for transfer.
The Parker is in great overall and running condition. It was just placed back in the water after the spring service and is currently docked in Forked River, NJ. Note that as of the listing, the hours on the new engine is 102 hours. However, this may change slightly with boat use.

PAYMENT:I must receive a $500 non-refundable down payment within 24 hours close of auction. This proves you are a buyer.I MUST THEN RECEIVE THE REMAINDER OF FULL PAYMENT WITHIN 5 DAYS CLOSE OF AUCTION. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!
I will accept payment in the form of cash in US Dollars or via certified bank check. I DO NOT accept personal checks ever. If you pay by certified bank check, I will not release the boat or title until the check clears. This may take from several days up to several weeks depending on bank policies. I have no control over how long it takes for your Cashiers Check to fully clear my bank. (I will not accept the preliminary bank clearance at my bank for boat release. It must be the final bank clearance where there is no claw back due to lack of funds or cashier check issues).
NOTE AGAIN: IF YOU PAY VIA CERTIFIED BANK CHECK, I WILL NOT RELEASE THE BOAT OR TITLE UNTIL I VERIFY WITH THE ISSUING BANK AND MY BANK THAT THE CHECK IS LEGIT, VALID AND PAYMENT HAS FULLY CLEARED. If you do not want to wait (days or even weeks) for the bank check to fully clear, then cash in hand may be considerably quicker.
I offer hassle free transactions and I expect the same in return. I try to describe my items as accurately as possible. I do not want to waste my time or yours by inaccurately describing items. However, everyone has a different opinion and description for what they are looking at. Therefore, if you have any questions, please email me at email before you bid so I can try to answer them. Also, to avoid any questions of the description, please contact me and make an appointment to come see the boat to make your own assessment. This boat is in great condition and I have nothing to hide.
STORAGE:I will store the Parker boat outdoors, dockside in Forked River, NJ for up to 14 days, if and only if, I am completely paid in full. However, I will not be held responsible for any damage to the boat after purchase and while the boat is being stored if the transfer of title has taken place. Therefore, the buyer will have to sign a release that removes the seller (thats me, Jeff) from any liability of damage if title transfer has taken place and payment has been made. I suggest that the buyer purchase comprehensive boat insurance during this time period to protect their new investment, as I will not be held responsible for any damage prior to picking up the boat.
SHIPPING RELATED INFORMATION:Buyer is responsible for pick-up of the boat from dockside in Forked River, NJ. I am not responsible for any type of shipping arrangements or any shipping related costs. Note that the boat is currently in the water. If you chose to hire someone to pick up the boat, I will make every opportunity to be available, or have someone else available, within limitations. That means that I will not be available at unreasonable times- like 3:00 in the morning.(Dont laugh, we once had a car dropped off at 3:00AM by a well known car carrier company a few years back.)
