Golden Eagle

The Golden Eagle is a 72' Nordlund custom built in Tacoma, Washington. She was built in 1987 and continually updated in 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2014. She is an Ed Monk, Jr designfeaturing 4 staterooms and three bathrooms. A proven blue watertrawler capable of most anything you can through at her.

Between 2014 and 2016 - new Garmin electronics installed, new Quartz counter tops, new carpeting, new propane Samsung Range and Oven, new Frigidaire Refrigerator, New Flatscreen Smart Televisions, new carpeting and Starboard Engine Rebuild.

Includes 14' 1996 Novurania tender with 60hp Yamaha 4 Stroke outboard

Accommodations

The spacious saloon has beautifultongue and grove hand finished Hickory, as does the Galley and Pilothouse. The couches are Italian leather. New Quartz countertops in the Saloon and Galley. There is a electrichigh/low table, double wine cooler and large screen smart television. Ice Maker.

The Galley has a new Samsung propane 4 burner range and oven. New Frigidaire refrigerator. Microwave, dishwasher, trash compactor and coffee maker.

Between the Galley and the Pilot House is the Pantry. It has two 14 Cubic Foot Freezers or Refrigerators and one 14 Cubic Foot Dry Storage. Also lots of additional storage.

The Pilot house has mostly new electronics. Stidd Helm Chair. New Custom California redwood table in front of settee of Italian leather.

The Master is full beam with a walk-around Temper-Pedic Queen. The Master Head has a shower/Jacuzzi bath.

Aft of the Master is a full stand up walk thru Engine Room. Also access through locker on back deck.

VIP Stateroom has full bath and two singles side by side, television. Forward is a V berth with 2 singles. It shares a bathroom with four stateroom that has bunk beds, television.

The Fly Bridge is very large with full driving station and bimini. The Lido deck has a Hydraulic Telescoping davit for tender or other toys. Built in Tec Bar-B-Que. 6 Person Life Raft.

The Bow features the most amazing on deck dual spool hydraulic winch made by R.C. Plath and Co. Completely rebuilt in 2015.Golden Eagle carriestwo anchors. One 105 lb CQR with100 feet of SS chain and then600 ft of SS cable. The other anchor is a120 lb.Fordforth with 60ft of SS Chain and 600 ft of SS Cable.

Portuguese Bridge and full covered walk around deck.

The boat has been in fresh water most of its life. Up to 2014 it was kept under a boat shed in Portland Oregon on the Columbia River.From mid 2014 to May 2016, we transited over 8,000 miles from Portland toSouth Carolinavia the Panama Canal.Now she is again backin freshwater in Murrells Inlet, SC on the Waccamaw River.
