Needs:
Fuel. Tanks are empty or near empty, hence the genset wouldn't even run for more than 5 seconds. :-) See videos.
Possibly two new starting batteries (port side bank).
Two sections of the ceiling, about 16x16, in the galley had water intrusion from the improperly closed hatch above and are sagging down. See in pics. Easy fix. It is drop-in Tegular ceiling tiles. They can be cut to shape and nailed to the ceiling beam.
The boat is listing on the port side. Reason is: new heavy stone counters in both heads and in the galley. All on the same port side. Solution: put sandbagsin the bilge on the starboard side or fill up only starboard side tanks with fuel and leave port side tanks empty.
The bilge pump goes about every hour or two for 30 seconds or so. Reason unknown. The boat was hauled out in November 2017 for leaks and general check up. Wooden boat, I suppose. No action was taken.
History:
She was for many years in Stockton CA in fresh water. Surveyed in April 2017 for $79,000.00 fair market valuewith replacement value $929,000.00 and purchased by the last owner. All recommendations in the survey were addressed and fixed, so the value increased. All new galley, cushions, carpet, etc. are extras. The survey is available upon request. You have to call me with your name and email address.
There is a blog on the internet highlighting all work that was done to her in the last year and it's a lot. She is presently moored in Redwood City CA in a very nice marina. The owner has decided to buy a different boat and not to deal with the effort of owning a classic wooden boat. This is how I entered the ownership of this beauty. All paperwork is proper and is in my possession.
If you win the auction you would have to insure her and start covering the moorage from February onward while looking for a new home for her.

Hello,
Are you still selling this boat. I happened to fish next to it on some occasions. My kids and I were wondering if it was for sale. I love this Boat. Nordlund 42
