Up for sale is a 2008 Nitro 189 Sport. It has a 2008 Mercury 150 EFI. The boat and motor have 68 hours on them. Yep you heard me right. 68 hours. This boat has been stored indoors and used on average 10 hours a season. In June of this year the motor had a $490 major service including impeller and lower unit oil and a tune up because of time. I can 100% guarantee that this is the nicest 2008 Nitro 189 Sport on the planet. It is so pristine that the dealer installed inventory stickers that are made of paper are still on the transom and motor and are clearly readable. Check out the pictures. The Nitro Z-7 is the newer model of the boat. Here is a video link.

Nothing has ever been done to the boat or motor except oil changes and the recent service. She has started and performed flawlessly every time. The skeg on the bottom of the motor has no nicks or scuffs on the paint and it is the 100% original factory paint. This motor and cowling have no nicks or scuffs anywhere. It is like new. I mean brand new, showroom brand new. You will never ever find a 2008 motor this nice unless you uncrated a brand new motor that some dealer still had in stock.
I got the boat today and took pictures of it just as I got it. I will get it detailed this week while the auction is going on. SO when you come to get it, it will be cleaner that is in the pictures.
I ALWAYS call what is right and what is wrong with my stuff that I sell on classifieds board. Do not believe for a second that there are any 2008 boats that are perfect. They were not perfect when they were brand new. Yet sellers and dealers do not disclose any problems until you are the high bidder and you go to pick up the boat. I call it like it is and show pictures of any issues. There are no secrets with my listing. That is why my rating is 100%. Look at my history. I sell high dollar items often.
I am unaware of anything else that is wrong with the boat other than what I have listed below.
- There are literally no scuffs on this boats fiberglass
surfaces anywhere. Top or bottom.
- There a some almost microscopic scuffs on the rub rails
of the boat. Way less than average.
- The prop is stainless and looks perfect.
- I traded this boat for another boat I had. The prior owner has owned this boat
since brand new. It has never been
sunk nor had any kind of damage.
- All systems operate as designed.
- Overall the boat is in like new condition. I would rate it 99 out of 100.
- The boat has NEVER been in salt water or brackish
water. The prior owner is from
Atlanta and it has only been in fresh water lakes. It shows.
- Solid Floors, Solid transom no structural issues
whatsoever
- The stereo sounds good.
- There is one inch cut in a rear seat. Almost un-noticeable
- The Trolling motor works great.
- I have all books, extra keys, manuals etc.
- All systems work.
- I do not know the top speed of this boat but 150hp on a
19 foot boat = fast.
- Bid on the boat.
You will not be disappointed.
The trailer that this boat is sitting on is for sale. It is like new. The tires are in great shape. The bunk carpet looks new. The tongue of the trailer folds to get the boat into a garage. I will sell the trailer to the high bidder for $1200. I dont ever include trailers simply because the buyer might already have a trailer and I dont want to force someone to buy something they do not need. High bidder has first option.
Finally, this is a no reserve auction. You might wonder why I sell my stuff with no reserve starting at a penny. It is because I have had a ton of success offering everything in a real auction setting selling to the high bidder. I have also found that the price it brings is what someone is willing to pay. With that said, the high bidder at auction end will be the new owner. Bid on it. This is an auction. Please have permission from your wife, husband, father, mother, sister, brother, partner, banker, bookie or anyone else that could halt the purchase BEFORE you bid on my boat. I report all none paying bidders to classifieds board. I do not cancel any of my auctions. I do not end auctions early. If you want this boatbid on it. You cant buy it any other way. Money must clear my bank and be in my account for me to release the boat and sign ver the ownership paperwork. This must take place within 7 days of auction end unless other arrangements are made. Of course if the boat is not as I represented it then I would not expect you to buy it and will refund deposits. Thanks and happy bidding.
