We do comeacross boat trailers that may not have paperwork, in that caseyou will have to register the trailer as "homemade".We try to be as straightforward as we can within the information we collect from the donor & include all such info in our listings. You are bidding on a 1985 Mirimar Century 27' Cabin Cruiser w/ Twin V8 Engines, starboard motor needs work ... Firstly i would like to say this boat is extremely well cared for aesthetically for it's age.. The Gelcoat is very strong & the upholstery is all in very decent shape.. The cabin is huge & has a V-berth that sleeps 4 with a mid-cabin that sleeps 2, Also there is a galley with sink, refrigerator & stove, galley dinette table with L-couch.. Head has a toilet, sink, & shower washdown.. All electronics shown are included with the boat, looks like a VHF radio, depth finder & other electronics including a solar trickle charger.. This Mirimar has a canvas top with vinyl windows, teak swim platform, trim tabs, teak bow pulpit.. Pilot station has full gauges & other electronics on dash.. Really a VERY good looking Cabin Cruiser & for someone willing to do the mechanical work, it can be a real fun Summer boat for the family for the 2017 boating season!

In regards to the Mercruiser motors, the boat has not been run this year, the starboard engine developed a "problem" according to the donor.. Donor states that the port engine ran good, but the starboard engine will need some kind of work, the donor does not know what it needs, could be minor or it could not be minor.. We make no guesses or guarantees on the mechanical condition of the engines, so bid & be aware of this!.. Boat has 2 new batteries but the batteries are dead right now.. There are many new parts that were added to the motor & the boat that i have the receipts for.. Looks like new risers & manifolds, looks also like the Alpha outdrive are only maybe 2-3 yrs old..

Boat will need to be towed from it's location by water, the donor will not permit any work conducted on the vessel other than the actual towing.. There are several public boat ramps very near to the boat location so the best bet would be to tow the Mirimar to one of those ramps & extract either by your own trailer or a transport service..

As another option.. The boat can be towed to a nearby marina as well for storage and/or repair, there are several nearby marinas as well..

The donor is NOT willing to allow the boat to remain at it's slip nor will he rent the slip space.. Boat needs to be moved from the donor's bulkhead no later than October 15th 2016...

Boat has a clear NYS transferable registration/title
