This boat was donated to Reboot Charity (rebootcharity.org) to assist it in helping people after a disaster. All proceeds from the sale go to help its mission. 1990 38' Mediterranean Convertible was purchased from the original owner as a second boat. Two used good condition Yanmar(Model 6Lym-STE) diesel engines were installed about 6 years ago which have recently been serviced with new injectors and parts.

The engines are rated at 257KW @3300 RPM). These engines have about 500 hours on them. Also, a new power steering pump and engine controls were installed to make the boat movable. We had the fuel polished (cleaned) 400 gallons of fuel onboard. Most people will buy this boat because of the engines. The engines alone are worth the asking price of the boat. The charity spent several thousand dollars doing maintenance to get the engines in good working order. Obviously, this is a project boat. It will need paint, new interior, and some leaks around the windows fixed.

We originally were going to do this work, but have been involved with relief work in Haiti so just decided to let someone else have the fun.
