General Description This fiberglass asymmetrical Catamaran was built in 2010 by Marlago Boats in Jeffersonville, Indiana as a 2011 29' NFPA 1925 Class C Fire Boat. Actual Condition It is reported that another boat was on its way into port, just prior to a big storm. It began raining and the wind was picking up. They overshot the wharf, ran it up too high, then dropped it down on the Marlago Fireboat, pinching it between the boat and the dock barge. The port engine was knocked off. Later that night, around 10 pm, a big storm came in and the fireboat sank.
Hull starboard:Beaching guard is torn open and fiberglass underneath is fractured, 10 long x 2 wide x 2 deep, located 3 aft of bow. Aft end of beaching guard is separated from hull over a length of 2 (wear and tear).
Starboard side is fractured from 3 to 11 forward of transom. Wood deck core is exposed in way. Starboard side fiberglass is fractured 8 forward of transom and 3 below run bar.
Hull, transom: Port outboard motor mount is missing. Fastener holes are torn and distorted in way. Port trim tab is twisted aft and starboard approximately 30 degrees. Port bracket for aluminum tube frame is broken. Port rub bar is torn and twisted over a length of 6. Inboard fastener bolt is pulling out of fiberglass in way.
Hull, port: Beaching guard is torn open and fiberglass underneath is fractured, 10 long x 2 wide x 2 deep, located 3 aft of bow. Aft end of beaching guard is separated from hull over a length of 2 (wear and tear).
Aft Deck:Stern deck fiberglass has gouge 8 wide x 3 long, located 2 inboard of centerline. Starboard side, fiberglass is fractured from starboard aft corner extending 3 forward, running 3 inboard of side. Starboard aft cleat is torn out and missing. Port aft corner of deck to port of center engine well is set forward 2 Numerous small fractures in way. Whole aft end of deck appears pushed to port in way of starboard side set-in.
Aluminum tube frame which sat above outboard motors now sits on aft deck. Various frame distortions, one leg broken off.
Starboard railing is distorted and set in 4, commencing 2 forward of aft end and extending 12 forward. Spiderweb stress fractures in fiberglass, commencing 1 forward of starboard aft corner and extending 12 forward, from 6 to 12 inboard of starboard side (over top of gunnel).
Forward deck:Forward centerline cleat is torn out and sitting in the wheelhouse. Fiberglass deck is fractured in way.Wheelhouse:Floor is cluttered with PFDs, absorbant boom and other loose equipment. Port aft window is cracked.

Sale for their signature. This must be emailed or faxed back
to Certified Sales. Storage is covered the first 5 business
days after auction ends, the Buyer must contact Storage Yard
to make arrangements for further storage or removal of the boat.
This all must be done within 5 days business of auction ending,
otherwise the boat will be considered abandoned. The Buyer's
full payment is forfeited and Certified Sales has the right
to resell the vessel.
