1986 Manatee 21 Foot Cuddy Cabin Boat. For sale is my 21 Foot Manatee Cuddy Cabin boat with it's 170 Mercruiser 4 cylinder engine that produces 300 horse power. I bought it as a project and have just run out of time and money. It's equipped with a Hummingbird fish finder and compass and a newly rebuilt outdrive trim pump. The cuddy cabin will sleep two and has a built in potta potty. The frame for the bimini top is complete but the fabric is torn and needs replacement. The fiberglass hull of the boat is in excellent condition as is the interior of the boat. The previous owner stored it inside for most of it's life and the trailer is in great condition as well. The engine has new spark plugs and a new distributor cap and turns over freely and tries to fire but will not start. I'm not a mechanic so I can't say why it will not run but there's good compression at all cylinders and spark at all four spark plugs. The points and plugs are set at the proper gap according to the specs. The Outdrive will lower from the throttle lever but will not raise from that position. It will raise when applying voltage to the outdrive pump so I think there's either a problem with the switch or the wiring between the switch and the pump. The trim tabs work perfectly. The beam of the boat is eight feet. Also included are two brand new wheels and tires already on the trailer as well as one good spare and a not so good spare. There's a Sony AM/FM CD player installed on the boat and a VHF Marine radio with dual antennas as well. The NADA price for the boat is listed at $ 4310.00. I feel someone who's good with engines will get it running with little trouble.I have it for sale locally on a heavily traveled road so it may sell in advance of this listing. I've been asked if I have titles. The boat does have a title and since the trailer is registered in New Jersey where they don't issue trailer titles, I DO have the trailer registration which you can use to obtain a title.
