Has the basic wear and tear of a 30 yr old boat... some scratches and wear here and there... it was bottom painted and I have been cleaning off for last several ears... there is about 10% left and every year more comes off with pressure washer....

up for sale is my 1986 Manatee 17' bow rider, data plate says its rated for 8 persons and 145 hp max, it has a rebuilt Evinrude 90 hp V4 on it with 528 hours. Motor is same vintage as boat. Compression is 120--125 lbs on all 4 cylinders and I just (two weeks ago) put a new water pump impeller, housing and gear oil change in it. Carburetors where rebuilt at the beginning of last season. Boat runs out strong and never had an issue towing both my teenage kids on tubes at same time and is quick even with a full tank of fuel and 4 adults with a cooler. Gas tank (18-20 gal) is a clear poly (plastic) tank across the transom that can be removed in 5 minutes or less, I have set it up with a standard gas cap and vent system so it can be easily filled up---I mix the oil and gas in a portable gas can and pour it in to make sure it is properly mixed. The oil injection system has been disabled and blocked off---mix the oil / gas to a 50-1 ratio and go.

Trailer has new rims and tires (last year), lights work and bearings are good. Some of the rollers need replacing and I will be including enough replacement good clean used ones to replace all of them... that was my plan that I never got too. THERE IS NO VIN TAG ON TRAILER---you will need to get a temp plate and bring it to the DMV and have a supplemental VIN tag assigned--its easy enough, I have just been using a trailer plate classified as "homemade" to move it around... I have towed it to Vermont and back and never had an issue. Its a good galvanized ez-loader type---take it to DMV, have them check lights an tires and assign a VIN... done deal. I will include a bill of sale for trailer and one for Boat.

I un-covered the boat three weeks ago to give it a good bath and vacuum---then the weather hit skids and is only now starting to warm up. I will give it a bath this weekend if its nice out. Its not filthy... just needs a bath and vacuum from being under tarp all winter.

Spare prop, a few life jackets, a boarding ladder, an anchor and whatever else I find will be thrown in. Bimini top is not perfect but does provide some shade...

Boat is for sale only because I got a wicked deal on another boat from the original owner and I'm upgrading.
