Mac Bay Playboy

Restored 16' 1948 Mac Bay "Playboy" wood boat. 4 cylinder inboard. Clean title. Very low reserve. Same owner for the last 50 years. Rare, beautiful, classic. Creates a scene every time you go to the lake, due to onlookers. Helping my father sell boat as he is getting too old to take it out anymore. Last on water 2 years ago which is when these photos were taken. Has been stored inside ever since photos taken. Just getting no use out of it anymore and it needs to be used. Any serious bidder is encouraged to come see the boat in person as it will only increase your enthusiasm for the craft. Restoration involved complete strip down and reassembly including complete rebuild of motor. Grey's Marine motor. Brass prop. Everything super clean. Boat was featured in "Classic Boating" magazine involving a 4 page story about the boat and it's origins. Everything has been kept as original as possible as one can see from the photos. Some minor modern improvements have been added for longevity and safety but otherwise original. Boat loaded and ready to trailer for the lucky buyer/shipper. As is sale. No returns.
