Lund Shell Lake Shellstar

1974 Lund Shellstar 15' tri-hull. Boat has newer seats and reupholstered bow seating. Working CMC 130 tilt/trim and bilge pump. Has scattered minor hull damage including a couple small holes. The floor has a couple of soft spots. It's currently registered in IN. Title was not required when I acquired it.

Motor #1 is a 1970-71 Merc 800 (80 HP) SN3054637. This is a two-owner motor that ran very strong, but suddenly suffered some major powerhead damage. Will run, but must have a bad piston, rod, or wrist pin. Lower unit (in separate photo) is in good shape - new seals just a couple of years ago. Includes controls (in boat), two gas tanks, a nearly new fuel line, and shop manual..

Motor #2 is a 1970-71 Merc 800 SN3053757. This was my first 80 for the boat. I was sold the wrong spark plugs, which apparently caused a small fire. Looking at it today, the wiring looks very damaged. The power pack is scorched, but the case seems intact.

The trailer is of unknown manufacturer. It has new bunks and a lot of new hardware. The bearings were replaced on one side, repacked on the other in the Summer of 2016. Two new tires this summer - the spare has never been used. No title or registration on this.
