Built in Holland, by world famous boat builders, 45 ft. Steel DutchTrawler, with two TMD Volvo turbo 400s, and an 800gal. long range fuel tank. Original sale price was $650,000. At the time of purchase, it was shipped by freight liner across the Atlantic. Original owners completed an additional $50,000 up fit, with new upper helm and converted electrical systems from 220 to 110. Approximately 10yrs later in 1998 a U.S. military contractor purchased the vessel for the amount $270,000 where it was kept at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC, and well maintained for 5yrs. The yacht left harbor and was then moored in Oriental, NC where it was neglected for 5yrs during a divorce. The former marine military contractor hauled out the boat at a Sloop Point in Hampstead, NC Marker 90 for major repairs to the steel vessel (never started). For two years this is where the vessel almost met its doom and was left to rot and die on the hill due to funding and financial responsibilities. It 2009, the boat was then purchased by Broadfoot for the amount of $90,000 and over a course of two years Mr. Broadfoot drove an hour each way four days a week until the project was restored. Up fit cost was approximately $50,000. Complete overhaul and fabrication of new keel, new transom, both port and starboard exterior walls replaced, new zincs, new batteries, AC pumps, new fuel filters , oil filters, new water pumps, new transmission, new septic pump, new bilges, replaced all wires, tubing , hoses, all oils changed, all fuel separators cleaned, AC and generator serviced.Only thing she needs are updated electronics and the 2 interior wiper motors to be replaced...2014 also added a upper tower, which cost approximately $6500.
