2020 Mercury 300R installed last winter. Motor has approximately 35 hours and warranty is good until the end of 2023. options for the motor include cambered skeg, 20 inch shaft, 1.60 gears, standard midsection. The motor has not been in salt water. If interested in the motor and controls, they are 23,500 The whole package boat motor and trailer is 33k. Boat and trailer minus motor for 12K but will require me selling the motor first. This hull is nearly identical to the newer Liberator 22' tunnel hull boats sold by Randy Corson new with this exact motor for around 65k.The boat shows well for it's age. The gelcoat is in excellent condition. There are some scratches and worn areas on the hull commensurate with a nearly thirty year old speed boat but nothing that compromises the integrity of the boat. There are no stress cracks! It is clear that this boat has been well taken care of. Fusion Marine head unit with built-in amplifier and pair of 8 in kicker speakers were just installed. Three bilge pumps all work. Battery replaced early this year. Dual axle trailer is in great shape with tires replaced last year. $1000 custom cover made last year.Because of the light weight of this boat, I'm able to pull it easily with my minivan. These boats will 300r motors (which have 338hp technically) easily hit 100-110 mph with the right prop. Hydraulic steering (new this year) combined with a cambered skeg means you can just set the wheel where you want it and it stays indefinitely. Something to mention for those who've never experienced a tunnel hull boat; they ride incredibly smoothly over rough water. The two tunnels that run under the boat narrow as they run aft which lifts the boat out of the water creating truly air ride suspension! As someone who has had a few V bottoms, I was blown away to be able to run over 2 ft chop at over 50 mph and not have my back hurt. I accidentally went over another boats wake on a river at 76mph and went full send. Scared the shit out of my girlfriend. But the boat just landed like a plane. Some areas needing attention eventually; There was a hot foot pedal with the previous motor setup and four bolts were drilled through the bottom of the boat. It has since been patched but the patch is amateur and so it will need to be redone eventually. It doesn't leak, it just looks subpar. There is some rash to the middle of the skeg from brushing up against a ramp at idle speed but it is still straight. Padding on the front seats is shot and they should be replaced. Rear bench is good. Dual 27 gallon aluminum fuel tanks. Port side tank leaked so I ran it dry. Aluminum tanks are repairable or you could swap it for a new one for a few hundred. There is a toggle switch on the dash to go between the tanks. Range is over 100 miles per tank if you fly and up to 150 miles at a modest cruise. Speaking of dash, the wiring for the analogue gauges was disconnected when the new motor was installed so the only gauge that works is the digital one that came with the controls. You can check everything from coolant or oil temperature to GPH and total fuel burned, RPM, motor trim level, etc. For sale locally. The boat is being sold as is except for the warranty on the motor through Mercury which is good until, I think, December 2023. Test rides are available with deposit on the three rivers surrounding downtown Pittsburgh. I am happy to talk to or message with you if you have any questions.
