Lavey Craft 26' NuEra OffshoreLavey Crafts are hand built, (From Lavey Craft website) One of the hallmarks of Lavey Craft construction quality is the vacuum bag process. Many manufacturers say that they do it, but in reality, either don't or do a very light version of it. Ask to see their equipment and ask questions about their process to remove any doubt. The vacuum bag process exponentially increases the strength of the hull: it insures uniform pressure during the bonding between the core material and the laminate/fiberglass, while thoroughly impregnating the balsa core with the bonding agent. Lavey's fit and finish is second to none. Look at the pictures.This 2004 Lavey Craft with 496 HO Mercruiser engine with only 475 hours at last service. Bravo 1X just upgraded at Max Machine Worx with 1 1/4"IMCO shafts fit with over sized bearings, etc. Completely rebuilt and upgraded. The equivalent of blue printing an engine ($9,000). Will handle 600 hp. I am the second owner of this boat. I bought it with 75 hours on it. I have it serviced twice a season. It has always been stored inside. Most people believe this boat is one or two years old. The upholstery is white, the threading is white. New larger bimini made last year and it comes with the old bimini as well. Extreme Trailer with all new trailer bunks last year. 5 new trailer tires last year. Boat is open bow, mid cuddy with emergency hatch, marine radio, inside lighting, new stereo with blue tooth and dash remote controls, 12v plug, and more storage. Drivers seat has drop out seat cushion for driver standing when desired (like docking or ruff water), passenger seat has storage under cushion, All other seats have storage under them. Ski locker in floor, anchor locker at nose. In the engine compartment is an extra prop, fenders, dock lines, coast guard kit, engine rinse system, dual batteries with master switch. Engine compartment looks brand new. Engine compartment lid is hydraulic ram. Hydraulic trim tabs, Gibson 4" flow thru mufflers for added power yet quiet. This boat rides smooth and drives wonderful. Holds 80 gallons of fuel. This boat launches and retrieves easier than any boat I have owned. Boat is in Havasu. A new Lavey is identical & costs double. Although this boat is made for offshore I have never had it in salt water. It has a closed loop radiator (the water you are in never enters the engine block). This boat is turn key ready to use. You do not need to buy anything else to go boating.
