Please have funds available prior to placing bids!This is a very solid boat top to bottom that needs nothing to be enjoyed, and ended up selling last acution for what I thought was steal based on its pedigree and documentedhistorical significance as a fiberclassics boat. There are very few water craft that will not lose value over time like this lake 'nsea example.Offered is a beautiful, preserved, 1957 L-15 lake 'n sea boat. Restored in sea foam green and white with all new interior seats. From my research I believe this boat is a very early, pre- Chris Craft, offering from the original lake-N-sea boat company out of Boca Raton, Florida. These are very unique boats supported by ACBS at classic boating events. Powered by merc 400E, a 45HP inline 4 cylinder, which starts, runs and shifts as it should. I currently have quicksilver 11 and 12 pitch props for it. With 4 adults in the boat it is capable of hitting speeds of 30MPH. The boat comes with a model 214 Gator trailer that is very presentable. The tires are new and thisrig could be trailered with peace of mind down the road. The boat is finished to a high level of presentation, not perfect, but arguable the best example available for sale, and certainly better than materials and standards would have permitted in 1957. This could proudlybe entered into any classic boat/car show or enjoyed with care at any lake. The boat is for sale on multiple sites and will end early if sold.
