I bought this boat in 2011 as a project. It was nearly finished in 2012 when Superstorm Sandy struck, and on the way to Maryland to complete the repairs we struck a recently sunken cruiser. Insurance paid for the Sandy damage and the impact damage. Unfortunately I then had a serious injury and now cannot complete the refit. Nor can I manage the boat solo anymore. She needs a transmission rebuild on the port transmission and the refrigerator replaced (new refrigerator is on the boat, still in the box). All other systems are complete, with all new electronics, new electric macerator heads, new captain and navigator chairs, new remote spotlight, rebuilt antique Danforth compass, new Bennett trim tabs, new single lever throttle controls, three gel batteries (one house, two starter).

This is a documented vessel with a complete title history. She has spent her entire life on the East Coast of the US, with several voyages from Florida to NY. She has reverse cycle AC/heat, shore power, diesel generator with sound box, electric cooktop, microwave, full electronics including Raymarine hybrid touch radar/GPS/fishfinder. New Fusion AM/FM/Satellite radio/CD, new seats, new salon futon/conversion double bed. Two full staterooms, master with en suite head, shower and tub. Master has walk-in hanging locker. Hydraulic drop-down transom (perfect for cocktails while at anchor), control deck with dining booth and ice chest. Navigation table with chart lockers, foredeck seating for four, sleeps 6 comfortably, more if you are good friends. She needs a transmission rebuild and new fridge installed (in box, on board). Two large solar panels still in the box. Engines regularly serviced and they purr smoothly and provide power when needed to outrun storms or get to the fishing grounds. This is a beautiful boat, set up for cruising or live-aboard. Satellite TV insalon, cable hookup in salonand master. I have to admit she does not like a following sea, but with a 3 foot draft you can get to calm waters easily and safely. She currently sits in a slip at Englewood Marina, Englewood, NJ, part of the Interstate Park system. If I were physically sound I would never sell her. I hope she goes to someone who will love her as I do.

Hi,
We are looking specifically at the kadey krogen silohuettes. Our last live aboard / cruiser was a Krogen raised pilot house 42 and we miss her terribly but divorce is a terrible thing. For our age and condition the Silohuette is ideal from r our retirement which we plan for the gulf coast. What kind of hours are on the engines at this time, assuming it is still available.
We are currently land locked in the New Mexico desert and have to get back to the coast sooner rather than later.

I have spent better part of last two years in and out of hospital and was on hospice for 8 months of the 2 years, luckily with the help of the Lord and my desire to be still here, I beat the odds and had my last surgery for triple A procedure two months ago, health is coming back and I'm looking forward to having some new adventures!!!
