Up for grabs is a 1971 Kona Jet boat,gel coat is the way it came from the factory,no re-paint. It has a 1968 427 motor with 1971 LS-6 heads...block casting # is 3916321 and head casting #'s are 3994026, right head date code is 9-71 and left date code is 2-71....block has been decked so the suffix code is gone...was told it had aluminum heads originally so can only assume it was the higher horse power motor. This is a 4-bolt main motor from what I read on line because of the extra external oil line for oil cooler. I have ran the motor and it runs good! Carb needs new base gasket it was leaking, electric fuel pump seems not be working as well. I was told that it is the original interior but carpet was re-placed. Hull has some gouges on the right side from the dock. Trailer will need tires as they are dry rotted from sitting,I will take it down for tires at the cost of high bidder if he chooses.
